After leaving the corporate world of Consumer Products and Licensing, Kay decided it was time to start a business built around her passion for crafts - and The Maker Space was born. We’re a modern craft venue based in a beautiful, old 17th Century pub near Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire and online, where we’ll teach craft skills in our workrooms, stock gorgeous, modern craft supplies in our store and serve great food and drinks in our cozy cafe and garden.
The idea for The Maker Space came from a Kay’s lifelong love (obsession?!?) for crafts and the desire to introduce as many people as possible to the joys of making. We firmly believe there is a craft for everyone and have created The Maker Space to help you find yours. So whether you want to learn a new skill, need advice choosing fabric for your next project or ideas for a new project we will do everything we can to help.
We can’t wait to welcome everyone in person when the building renovations are finished, but in the meantime you can shop online, find inspiration in our MAKE section or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and via Instagram and Facebook.
