A crochet workshop running over 2 consecutive weeks.  

Each 3 hour session runs from 9.30am - 12.30pm

(Session 1: Wednesday 6th November, Session 2: Wednesday 13th November 2024).

Whether you're an absolute beginner, or have tried crochet before and need some more guidance, this class is for you.  You'll learn the basic crochet stitches and have plenty of time to practice them on sample swatches. Over the two sessions you'll learn chains, slip stitches, doubles, trebles and how to combine these to work a basic granny square - an essential skill when making a gorgeous crochet blanket.  We'll also cover some key terminology and abreviations and explain how to read a crochet pattern.  

At the end of the workshop you'll have all the crochet skills you need to get started on your first project.  

We'll supply acrylic yarn and a 4mm crochet hook for the class (which is yours to keep) but feel free to bring along your own materials if you prefer - just make sure the crochet hook is the correct size for the yarn (4mm/double knit or 5.5mm/aran weight).

Suitable for all levels - you don't need any previous experience of of crochet for this class.

Included in the class:

Acrylic double knit yarn (a great yarn for beginners)

4mm crochet hook

Use of all other necessary tools and equipment.

In booking a place on one of our classes you confirm that you have read and agree to all terms and conditions set out below.

All workshops must be paid in full at time of booking in order to secure your place.

All bookings are non-refundable and non-cancellable.  We will however, where we can, offer a store credit (redeemable on future classes or store goods) if you notify us no less than one calendar month before the scheduled workshop date. This store credit is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. We are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, regardless of customer reason.

In order for a workshop to go ahead we require a minimum number of attendees due to the costs incurred by us in hiring tutors, purchasing class supplies/equipment etc...  If for any reason the class is cancelled by us (due to unforeseen circumstances) we will offer you a full refund or a place on the class the next time it is scheduled.  If you decide to move onto a future class our offer of a refund is withdrawn and these cancellation policies apply to the new booking (i.e. if you are subsequently unable to attend your new class date a refund does not apply).
