Why do we collect it?

We collect personal information from you so that we can deliver and improve the service we offer. We also want to be able to keep in touch with you, so that you can see our latest products and offerings. When you shop with us, we need to collect different types of your personal information.

What do we do with it?

We use your personal information in a number of ways, and what we do with that information depends on what is it we have collected. We don’t keep payment information. We use a third party payment processor via our shopping platform.

The Legal Bit

We are allowed to collect and use your personal information for a number of reasons, prescribed under data protection and privacy law:

  • Where you’ve given your consent
  • Where we need to perform our contract with you (for example, where you’ve ordered something from us)
  • To comply with the law – sometimes we are legally obliged to capture and share some information with law enforcement agencies, or the government)
  • Legitimate interest

Data Retention

We will keep your personal information for as long as we reasonably need to (a) process your transactions with us; (b) keep your account maintained; (c) to enable us to comply with our legal obligations; (d) conduct or defend legal proceedings. We will not keep your personal information for any longer than we believe is absolutely necessary.

Opting out

You are entitled to opt-out of marketing communications at any time. You’ll be able to action that via the links in marketing emails you receive. You won’t be able to opt-out of service or transactional emails specifically or we won’t be able to perform our contract with you.

Sharing your information with third parties

We don’t sell your information to third parties, ever. We do need to share your information with third parties – our professional advisers, our insurance company, the technical providers who help run our website (including our payment processing company). And of course, when the law tells us to, we have to share your personal information with law enforcement authorities.

Your rights in relation to your data

In addition to the above opting out rights, you can also request to: (i) access your data; (ii) make us correct it if it is wrong; (iii) tell us to stop processing certain types of data; (iv) tell us to erase your data (“the right to be forgotten”); (v) the right of portability. There are essential cookies on our site which are pre-enabled in order for our site to function.
