This class aims to build up and add to your pouch making skill set. Perfect for those who completed the Quilted Zipper Pouch Workshop or people who have some basic sewing knowledge. Throughout the day you will work through simple yet precise cutting and patchwork skills, affixing interfacings, attaching a zipper with zipper tabs on each end, as well as boxing of pouch corners and creating a wrist strap.
This workshop is designed to help you become a more confident pouch maker and to provide you with the skills to improve not only your knowledge but execution of pouch making in the future.
You will need to bring (not included in class cost):
- Various fabrics to cut into 2.5” squares on the day (please do not cut ahead of time)
- 1 x Fat Quarter – Outer Fabric and wrist strap
- 1 x Fat Quarter – Lining Fabric and wrist strap
- 10” Zipper
- Thread to compliment your fabric choices. (We'll provide white thread in the sewing machines - if you wish to use an alternative please bring it with you or you can purchase on the day.)
What we will provide on the day (included in class cost):
- 2 x pieces 10.5”x 10.5” Woven Fusible Interfacing (Vlieseline G710)
- 2x pieces 10”x10” Fusible Batting (Vlieseline H640)
- D-Ring and Lobster Clip
- Strip of felt or wadding for wrist strap

In booking a place on one of our classes you confirm that you have read and agree to all terms and conditions set out below.
All workshops must be paid in full at time of booking in order to secure your place.
All bookings are non-refundable and non-cancellable. We will however, where we can, offer a store credit (redeemable on future classes or store goods) if you notify us no less than one calendar month before the scheduled workshop date. This store credit is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. We are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, regardless of customer reason.
In order for a workshop to go ahead we require a minimum number of attendees due to the costs incurred by us in hiring tutors, purchasing class supplies/equipment etc... If for any reason the class is cancelled by us (due to unforeseen circumstances) we will offer you a full refund or a place on the class the next time it is scheduled. If you decide to move onto a future class our offer of a refund is withdrawn and these cancellation policies apply to the new booking (i.e. if you are subsequently unable to attend your new class date a refund does not apply).
