This fun 3 hourclass is a great way to start building your confidence at a sewing machine and make something for yourself at the same time. Tracy will take you through all the steps to measure, cut and sew your own wrap around quilted book cover. You'll make an A5 cover (15cm x 21cm) in the workshop but we'll also explain how to adapt the measurements for books of all sizes.
Perfect for total beginners and those looking for a relaxing few hours of sewing.
You will need to bring (not included in class cost):
- 3 Fat or Long Quarters of quilting cotton.
- A5 hardcover notebook
- Thread to compliment your fabric choices. (We'll provide white thread in the sewing machines - if you wish to use an alternative please bring it with you or you can purchase on the day.)
(All the above can be purchased from in our store on the day if needed.)
Included in class cost:
- Fusible Fleece (8 ½” x 11 3/4”)
- Piece of Fold over Elastic 9 1/2”

In booking a place on one of our classes you confirm that you have read and agree to all terms and conditions set out below.
All workshops must be paid in full at time of booking in order to secure your place.
All bookings are non-refundable and non-cancellable. We will however, where we can, offer a store credit (redeemable on future classes or store goods) if you notify us no less than one calendar month before the scheduled workshop date. This store credit is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue. We are unable to make any exceptions to this policy, regardless of customer reason.
In order for a workshop to go ahead we require a minimum number of attendees due to the costs incurred by us in hiring tutors, purchasing class supplies/equipment etc... If for any reason the class is cancelled by us (due to unforeseen circumstances) we will offer you a full refund or a place on the class the next time it is scheduled. If you decide to move onto a future class our offer of a refund is withdrawn and these cancellation policies apply to the new booking (i.e. if you are subsequently unable to attend your new class date a refund does not apply).
